Red Sky at Night, Pine Cone Delight.

I’ve always heard that sunset is the photographer’s golden hour for great photos, and I wanted to take advantage of that this afternoon. I took one of the dogs for a walk (had to leave one home, so I could keep a hand free for picture-taking) in our nearby greenbelt. Found this pine cone by the side of the path, and liked the idea of focusing on it, rather than just the expanse of sky. Don’t worry, I’m sure there’ll be lots more sunset pictures in the months to come.
