So of course the moment I hear about this week’s assignment, the weather turns. “Hot” seems like a thing of the past, and I had just happily settled into cool fall weather, sweaters, and boots, and then it had to go and get cold. The nerve! Still, it at least afforded us the opportunity to use the gas fireplace in our new house for the first time. Hooray!
