Snow!
And it’s still coming down, which is fun. It’s piled up at least a foot deep in places, more when the snow plow pushes it around. Beautiful. And cosy to sit and watch from the warmth and safety of the apartment.
Once just a girl and her shoes. Now a girl and her family, dogs, books, photos, friends and shoes.

Do you get enough snow on balconies or fire escapes or window sills that you could make little tiny mini-snowpeople?
Three little snowballs all rolled up and stacked togethor with small buttons for eyes and a baby carrot for a nose?
Nice. Living in Canada, and being born in Quebec, I know all about snow.
I want to ski now.
We got a ton of snow on the windowsills and the fire escape. Enough to make not-so-tiny snowpeoples, definitely!
I’ve never been skiing myself, but I bet there were people shushing through Central Park today on cross-country skis. I know I saw folks sledding — one dad was pulling his daughter across 2nd Avenue. It was adorable!
Here, another visual. Check it out.
Wow….
Nice.
I hate snow. Ew. Bleh. Just looking at those pictures makes me want a cup of hot cocoa.
Yeah. I had enough snow growing up in Fargo to last me the rest of my life.
Although I do look forward to the chance to smack my roomie upside the head with a snowball sometime.
Could use more snow than we’ve gotten, and there’s something very nice about lots and lots of snow out the windows — as long as you can stay on that side of the glass.
Looks like I’ll get that chance. I got my roomie up early this morning so she could go take a polygraph test for the job she’s applied for, andlooked out the window! eep! Then I went down and scraped two inches of snow off my car.
Dang. I wish I’d thought to take a picture of it first.
She is not going to be happy when she sees she’s got to drive 20 miles in the snow.
I just hope she doesn’t wreck my car.
Aww…
I guess the snow is already melting, because the tiny snowman I built on the hood of my car to surprise my roomie slid down and smooshed on the asphalt.
