Yarn.
My friend Kim has a whole room in her house devoted to yarn in various stages — from textiles waiting to be spun, some in the process of becoming yarn actually on a spinning wheel, and others already bundled up, ready to become sweaters or socks.
I’m more likely to tie a knot in a piece of yarn than make anything pretty with it, but I can appreciate the colors nonetheless.
