Started off the day by taking a quick tour of the Captain Whidbey Inn in the morning fog, then left +Doyce Testerman there for a day of classes, then piled all back in the car to head up to Deception Pass State Park.
We did some exploring at West Beach, the Amphitheatre, and North Beach, then drove across the bridge and walked a little ways back and under before heading back to the car and picking up Doyce for lunch at Ciao in Coupeville.
After lunch, the kids and I headed back to the house and attempted naps (unsuccessfully, alas), then gave up and went grocery shopping, but not before checking out a pool where Kaylee can work on her interval training. Finally, we headed back to the inn, and hung out on the dock and the shore while we waited for Doyce, where I got this great shot of +Kaylee Testerman and her new madrona stick.
