After we dropped +Doyce Testerman off at class this morning, the kiddos, Booker, and I headed down the island to Double Bluff Beach in Useless Bay, which we'd long been told was the best beach on the island. I'm happy to report the stories were all true!
We had a lot of fun playing in a tidal pool, throwing sticks for Booker to fetch in the water, watching crabs, looking for seashells, and generally doing beachy stuff.
We left just as it was getting more crowded, and met Daddy for lunch at Coupeville's Pizza Factory. Delicious!
This evening, since we all had good long naps this afternoon, we went for another walk on the beach, this time the private one for Admirals Cove, where our beach house is located. Found some more cool rocks, and picked up a neat piece of driftwood for Uncle Dan before dinner and bedtime.
Tomorrow is the reason we're all here: Doyce's graduation!
