One final wrap of the year that was, this time in collages of some of my favorite photos of 2015, month by month.
In January, Sean, Zoe, and I went down to Ocean Reef to meet Grandma and Aunt Barbara, while Doyce went back up to Whidbey. Once we were all back, we celebrated Sean’s 4th birthday with an Avengers-themed party.
In February, we mostly hung out at home, spending some time skiing up at Loveland and enjoying our own backyard. Doyce and I both celebrated our birthdays with tickets to Forbidden Broadway at the Denver Center.
In March, Kaylee got a cute short haircut, Sean’s favorite stuffie was lost and found, we spent some time hanging out with Uncle Dan, who moved out to join us in Colorado, we went to see Kaylee’s 4th grade music program, and I went again to Bologna.
In April, we had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard, and looked at a new house, exploring a new park and playground.
In May, Kaylee’s summer swim team kicked into gear, we went to Denver ComicCon, packed up our house on Northridge Road, and closed on a new house.
In June, after moving into our new house, we went to more swim meets, played at our new neighborhood playground, and enjoyed spending time with Uncle Dan, Aunt Alex, Izabella, and Carolena.
In July, I went to San Diego ComicCon again, joining some cosplay photo shoots, and spending time with clients and friends. At home, Aunt Patty came out to visit, and we took her to the top of Pike’s Peak. We also enjoyed a backyard campout!
In August, the whole family went back up to Whidbey Island and celebrated Doyce’s graduation from his MFA program. Back in Colorado, the Burketts and Testermans came out for a visit, and we had cake for four August birthdays!
In September, worried things were getting too boring, we adopted another puppy, Toby. Aunt Barbara came out for a visit, and we went to the Denver Zoo, then Aunt Carol made the trip, and all we went for a family hike.
In October, Doyce, Kaylee, and I took the puppies for a hike up to St. Mary’s Glacier, Kaylee had her first meet with her new swim team, we went to the Four Mile Historic Park harvest festival with our friends, and as always, enjoyed Halloween.
In November, Sean and I went to visit Grandma in New York, then I went to Charleston, SC for the KT Literary annual retreat. For Thanksgiving, we celebrated Izabella’s birthday with the Colorado Schafers.
In December, Sean had his annual holiday performance with Primrose, and Kaylee had a solo in her choir performance. Aunt Bonnie and Jadyn came out for a visit, and we all went to Sean’s first gymnastics exhibition. For Christmas, we all went back to NY for the annual Delaney Family Christmas party, and stayed at Grandma’s through the holiday.
We’re only a few days into 2016, but we have some great things planned for this year as well!
