Frost Crystals
I thought I was getting out of the car today to take a picture of a split rail fence, but loved this ice on the street in front of it much better.
One of the things I love about this project is how I’m paying attention to little things that would have gone unnoticed before. I never would have seen this ice — which looks something like the map of a winter wonderland from orbit — if I hadn’t stopped to take a picture. I’d have never driven out of my way just to see if I could find a better picture down the road I hadn’t traveled.
Seems like Robert Frost (ha!) had it right…
