Leaving My Mark.
Part of Nia White Belt Principle #5 is the concept of “Life as Art”, and in discussing it today, I couldn’t help but think how my photo project here is a perfect representation of that. No, not perfect — precise.
Through my camera, every day I take care to notice something new — or something that I may see every day, that I’m choosing to look at in a new way.
Each picture brings me pleasure. In this case, this is a tangible representation of the muscle movement I experienced today in my Nia training, as our bodies warmed up the room we danced in and steamed up the windows.
