Going from Here to There and There. Like The Hobbit, but more straightforward

Doyce and I have been playing around on our blogs, trying to streamline what and where we post, so that instead of sending one thing to Google+, something else to Facebook, and a third thing to Twitter, everything just works automatically. Thus, trying this out. This post, created on G+, should automatically cross-post to my blog, and from there, head over on its own to Facebook and my Tumblr. And of course, I can post on my blog directly, and send it out to Facebook and Tumblr, though I think if I sent it from my blog to G+, we all might be caught in a Groundhog Day-like endless loop, so let's not try that anytime soon.

I'm doing something similar on my work site, taking G+ and Facebook out of the equation, but bringing in Twitter and Tumblr instead.

Fancy!

  1. Right now mine go from G+ -> WordPress -> Twitter -> Facebook (also Twitter -> WordPress). It can get a little quirky (esp. with how images forward over, how formatting comes or (usually) goes, but it work better than trying to post everything everywhere.
