And one more from South Dakota, where I admit I cheated a little. The assignment:
Get out there and look at your city, town, village through fresh eyes. Imagine that you are seeing things for the first time as a tourist. I’m not saying take pictures like a tourist, i.e. snapshots or breaking out the selfie stick, but go out and show of the best of what your area has to offer. I know there are a lot of you that live in rural areas, this week consider Mother Nature’s roll in making your part of the world a destination. An added challenge this week, if you are posting on Instagram, hashtag your city, state or province’s tourism bureau and share the sights and beauty of your hometowns.
I was being a tourist not in my hometown, but in Doyce’s. Where, sure, technically, I am a tourist. This is the small church just down the road from his family’s farm.
