So Doyce got tickets for us to take KK to Cirque de Soleil this afternoon, which was — as everyone said it would be — pretty amazing. I’d never seen them perform before, and although I’d been told before how different it was from a regular circus (I saw a Ringling Brothers show when I was a kid at Madison Square Garden), it actually struck me as similar to one — at least to my IDEA of a circus. Daredevils tricks, clowns, and ok, more contortionists than animals, but there was a tent and everything!
Anyway, Kaylee loved the clowns, but my favorite part was the Wheel of Death — I’m attaching a video from YouTube, but that only hints at it. I gasped, clapped, and may have screamed at one point. A-freakin’-MAZING. Check it.
