I hit a nerd milestone today — bought my first “Lifetime Subscription” to a game. Turbine announced the date of their “Siege of Mirkwood” expansion for December 1st, and some sweet deals for renewals — more than enough of an impetus for Doyce and I to grab the lifetime memberships, and for an additional $20, get a LOTRO “Adventurer’s Pack” (now with more ponies!) and the expansion for free.
Even with CoH, I only even paid monthly. This is huge, fellow nerds. HUGE.
Ayup. I have a [cough] six-month scrip on Champs. I tell myself I’m just a social gamer, though.
