As I go through my Christmas card list, I wonder… should I be saddened and hurt by the number of people with whom I’ve broken contact, or ended our relationship harshly, or AMAZED that it’s happened so infrequently? In this era of keeping in touch with all sorts of acquaintances on Facebook as “friends”, how do you handle those people you’d never grant that title to again?
P.S. If you’re reading this, you’re probably not someone I’m thinking of. But who knows — they used to read this!

An interesting question. It’s funny how some friendships sort of fade away, especially as snapshots year to year on Christmas card lists.
(Ugh. I shouldn’t be pondering Christmas cards right now.)
