One of my favorite things about living in Highlands Ranch is that many of the undeveloped fields around town are still zoned for ranch-land, and therefore, for horses. I was delighted today to come across these three guys in a field just off the Lucent exit, near the Fly'n B Park. Happily, I had my camera with me from a morning shooting in Sean's classroom, and they were very friendly, so I could get up close and personal and say hi.

I gave them all nose skritches, too!
