P52: Week 30 — Now, Do The Opposite!

After last week’s prompt to shoot in your favorite style, this week pushed us to try the opposite! “OK, so now that you have embraced what you love most about photography, I am going to make you do the opposite. What is your least favorite? Think of the opposite of what you did last week. Is your favorite macro? Then go wide. Is your favorite posed portraiture? Then do street. What about family documentary? Then do a stylized shoot. Really think about what would be the furthest thing from what you chose to post for last week’s assignment, and shoot that. Like last week, this is similar to a Photographer’s Choice week in that you get to pick whatever subject you want, but within the confines of it being your least favorite.”

I was on vacation for this week’s prompt, attempting to avoid the internet, so it was only when I got home that I saw the theme, and went back and looked at my vacation photos to see if any fit the prompt. The week before, I said my favorite was lifestyle photography of kids and dogs, and that was the bulk of my vacation shots. This, however, was one of a very few landscape photos (almost macro, but not quite), edited with a stylized HDR preset.
