One more for our month of compositional techniques! We looked at this whole list of techniques, with the idea to intentionally use elements of composition to create focus on our subject, to be sure the subject is the dominant element of our image. I thought this worked well in terms of dominance and subordination, by both adhering to and breaking the rules. The little kids in the center would seem to be dominated/overwhelmed by the big grownups around them, but by desaturating everything but them and bringing the focus lower, they end up dominating the image instead.
