My best supporting character this week was this rain puddle on the island of Burano in the Venetian lagoon. I’d been told over and over again how beautiful Burano was, how photogenic, and even in the rain, it was. I was not the only person who braved the wet, chilly day to see the colors, and as I was traveling by myself, I had to sneak this shot of a stranger’s feet while they posed for a snapshot.
