This morning, Zoe sang the "Rain, rain, go away" song, and while it took a while, it cleared up for the afternoon! So we had a mostly chill and relaxing morning, lunch at the beach house for the littles, then met Daddy for lunch at Ciao.
After lunch, we all enjoyed some ice cream.
Once we dropped Doyce back off at the Captain Whidbey, the kids, Booker, and I went to Fort Casey State Park for some hiking and exploring the old gunnery buildings. With Zoe on my back in what was probably the last run of the hiking backpack, we climbed all sorts of stairs and towers and cannon mounts.
After a couple of hours exploring there, we dropped he hound back off at the beach house, met Daddy, and went back into Coupeville for another yummy dinner at Mosquito Fleet Chili.
And capped off the day with a truly spectacular sunset!
